KGB rumored to be part of Randy Moss trade
I can see TT doing a trade such as this. I would love to see KGB
play another year just being a pass rusher and not being the weak
link on the defense against the run. I think he would get so
physically worn down his pass rush has really suffered the past few
years. He really only has one move anyway, the speed rush. That did
seem effective though when he would come in on third down and suprise
a guy with his speed and quickness but when that tackle saw him
everydown he adjusted to it quickly. We would also get rid of some
salary which is always on TT’s mind although being so far under the
cap its not a must have. Moss does have some big numbers though
coming up salary wise. Would Donald Driver be ok next to him making
5 million when Randy will make 9 and 11 million the next two years?
I think he is going to have to be willing to take a pay cut to around
5 million a year for the deal to be done. Im sure Brett would love
to think about a four wide receiver formation this year with Moss,
Driver, Jennings, and Koren Robinson later in the season. I also
thought Ruvell Martin and Carlyle Holliday showed some potential
towards the end of the year. I still think there is no room for
Robert Ferguson. He may be a throw in with the Moss deal. What
Thompson really needs to do is trade him to the Texans. Any draft
pick at all would be a steal.
